Fountain Nozzles
(For Nautilus, & Aquarius pumps)
Fountain nozzles come in various sizes including 1/2"
and 1" sizes. We have charts below that describe the size of the fountain when
used with specific pumps. 1/2" fountain nozzles are used with small - medium
pumps (Aquarius 6, 8, 900, 1200, 1800 and Nautilus10 pumps) while 1" fountain nozzles
are used with larger pumps (Nautilus 10, 30, 45, and 60). Points to consider when
deciding on pumps and fountains are: (1) is the fountain going to be your only source for
water circulation? If so, your pump needs to be large enough to circulate 1/2 the total
volume of your pond (in gallons per hour, or GPH) every hour. This will determine
what size of pump you need. Based on this alone, you will then refer to one of the
below charts and see where your pump is listed and then select which kind of fountain head
you would like. (2) If the fountain is NOT the only source of water circulation (you may
have planned a waterfall as well) you should have at least the combined sources
of water circulation to circulate 1/2 of your pond's total volume every hour.

| The chart below will give you the
maximum spray dimensions of the fountains shown above with the corresponding pumps by
OASE. Make sure that your pond is big enough to contain the maximum dimensions and
allow extra space for wind blowing the fountain spray. What you don't want to have
happen, is the fountain to be spraying your surrounding grass, plantings, etc. and wash
the soil and fertilizers, etc. that you may have in your soil, back into your pond.
Also, the fountain spray, if not contained in your pond could end up draining your pond of
it's water! *Note, these are all 1/2" fountain nozzles. See chart below
for 1" fountain nozzles for larger pumps. (The fountain designs if available,
are the same, just larger.) You most likely will need a 1/2" extension stem for
each 1/2" fountain head and possibly a flow regulator diverter, shown in the chart,
if you have other water features the pump will be pumping water to. |

This floating fountain unit is delivered "ready for
installation" and supplies garden ponds and lakes with oxygen in a natural and
decorative way. The clearly structured water display reaches a spray height of
approx. 13 ft. at a spray diameter of approx. 9 ft. Pond Jet is also an ideal pump
for use in temporary situations when a beautiful water display is desired for a special
occasion. The minimum depth required is only 17". The water display is
particularly fascinating when illuminated at night. When the Pond Jet is combined
