Pond Nets, Heavy Duty Plastic Nets and Seine Nets

Pond nets are used for a variety of purposes.  You can protect your fish from predators such as blue herons, egrets, raccoons, cats, and more.  You can also eliminate leaves from falling into your pond with a pond net.  They work very well with either function. The color of the net is black which is nearly invisible on your pond.  They are 3/8" mesh and have added UV inhibitors for long life.  They're ideal for water gardens, ponds, small pools and hot tubs, swimming pools, tanks, and pens.  They do not come with anchoring devices.  You can put them over your pond and put a few rocks along the edge to hold them in place or any other creative way to anchor them.

Heavy Duty Plastic Netting

This high-quality netting has many aquaculture uses.   Cages, trays, covers, screens, pens, traps, tank dividers, filters and more can be made with this mesh netting.  Because it won't rust or rot, it is the perfect choice for water use.  The black polyethylene mesh is UV resistant for long life.  These nets are very stiff and rigid and could stand up on their side by themselves (almost like a plastic coated fencing material).   Naturally, they need to be staked or adhered to whatever material you're working for in order to properly do the job the netting is sought for.  They are the heaviest plastic netting available.

Seine Nets
Our small mesh nylon seines guaranteed to be of the finest quality and workmanship anywhere!  Seines are attached to a 3/16" braided poly rope with spongex floats spaced every 2' and 1 oz. lead weights every 12" on bottom.  Seines are available in 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2 mesh sizes.  All seine nets are custom sized, built to order and are non-refundable, non-returnable.  Please allow approx. 10 - 14 days for shipping.  Seine nets are also available without lead weights.

Price is by the running foot.  For example:  Say you would like a 6' deep seine net that has 1/2" mesh size and is 20' long.  You multiply  $5.67 x 20' and you get $113.40 plus S&H.  The seine nets are green or white in color.  Add 15% extra for black nets.  A minimum of 10' in length is required.

Custom size netting material is available.  You can use this to cover large ponds, tanks, pens, etc.  Please inquire about the size and color (normally comes in green but you can have it colored black for an additional 15%) of the net you would like to get a price on.  They are available in nearly any large size.

New this year is our heavy duty seine net which are great for skimming off tops of ponds that have filamentous algae and/or duckweed floating on them.  These seine nets come complete with floats along the top so the top of the net stays at the surface.  Because the nets are only 24" deep, fish can easily get away.
