| Rotary Vane Air
Compressors
These rotary vane air compressor kits pump considerably more air than the diaphragm pumps
shown above. Rotary vane pumps do not operate as deep as the diaphragm pumps -
maximum operating depth is 18'. A 3/4HP high pressure model is available which
operates to a depth of 27'. The 1/4HP model pumps 4.2 CFM of air compared to 1.5CFM
with the 1/4HP diaphragm compressor. This larger volume of air will increase
circulation and oxygen levels for faster cleaning of the pond's bottom. The
1/4HP rotary vane kit is recommended for ponds from 1 to 2 acres, but it often is used in
ponds less than 1 acre if high fish population, exceptionally poor water conditions, or
heavy nutrient build-up exists. The 3/4 HP models are recommended for ponds 2-4
acres in size. For ponds larger than 3 acres, the 1HP kit is used or multiple
aeration systems may be needed. Please inquire about
the aeration system required for your size of pond. Include depth, size and shape of
pond, water conditions and fish population.

Dosage Rates for Ponds/Lakes
Initial Dose: 10 lbs. per surface acre
To find out how to calculate surface acres, measure the length and width of your pond and put the measurements into this formula:. You measured your pond and your pond is 250ft. long x 250ft. wide. Multiply 250 x 250 = 62,500. Divide your answer (in this case, 62,500) by 43,560. (43,560 is one surface acre). So, the math will look like this: 62,500 ÷ 43,560 = 1.43 surface acres or roughly
1 1/2 surface acres is the size of your pond.
Maintenance Dose: 6 lbs. per surface acre every 2 weeks thereafter.
To apply, simply add
Pond Bio-Solutions™ to your pond by sprinkling the product around the pond's edges or throughout the body of water. Adding the product near an aerator also works well for better distribution throughout the pond. You can also add
Pond Bio-Solutions™ to a bucket of pond water and disperse throughout the pond as well. The application method is really up to you. However best you can distribute the product, the better.

rust-proof, powder-coated aluminum handle, detachable polyethylene float
and a 50' length of plastic rope. Use it to skim floating aquatic
vegetation and algae from the water. By shortening the handle and
removing the float, you have a professional-grade landscaping rake,
excellent for dressing beach sand. Suggestion: use the Lake Rake in
combination with the Aquatic Weed Eradicator. First cut the weeds
growing in the water with the Aquatic Weed Eradicator, then drag them to
shore with the floating Lake Rake.
