    Fine for my purpose

    I just ordered one yard, because I could not judge the rigidity or density. The mesh worked fine for a support layer under the softer material. It is self supporting as a filter base in moving water over about 12 inches between supports. It is a little too coarse to serve as the only filter material. Easy to cut with heavy duty scissors.
