Reward aquatic herbicide is a concentrated aquatic herbicide that's been proven on a wide variety of aquatic plants including milfoil, cattails, duckweed, pondweed and others. This liquid herbicide is applied by sprayer and should not be applied to turbid waters. There is very little risk of environmental damage since Reward's concentration rapidly decreases as it is absorbed into the aquatic vegetation. Reward is a restricted use pesticide in the state of Michigan. A copy of your pesticide applicators license must be faxed to us before we can sell to anyone in Michigan. Application rate is one to two gallons per acre. Should be used with activator for best results. Please Note:

Alternative chemicals NOT EPA Registered that can be used in these states are: Cygnet Plus Surfactant Cygnet Select Pond Dye Also, remember that pond weeds as well as pond algae grow abundantly from sunlight and nutrients in the water. You can reduce the sunlight that filters through the water by using one of the aquatic pond dyes such as the Cygnet Select Pond Dye. You can reduce the available nutrients by getting on a regular treatment program using our PlanktoniX which is a great beneficial bacteria that breaks down the dead aquatic weeds on the bottom of the pond along with sludge, muck, fallen leaves, dead fish, etc. (Anything that is organic and biodegradable). So, try starving out the unwanted pond weeds by using a pond dye and our PlanktoniX pond bacteria(available in several sizes).
